The first step in getting our porcelain veneers is to shave down the front upper and lower teeth so that the veneers can be fitted over them and the teeth can support them. Next, a mold of the teeth is taken to get accurate impressions.

These are used to create temporary veneers, which will last for about one week while the porcelain veneers are being created in the lab. These temporaries will need to be shaved down as well. No glue is used to adhere these, but when the porcelain veneers are placed, they will be cemented onto the teeth with a durable glue. When the porcelain veneers are placed, one tooth is done at a time for a perfect fit. The shape will be the same shape as the natural teeth; they will just look better.
